Mr. Slugworth

If you follow me on Twitter, then you know I've been on a Hazelnut kick. If calories and cavities weren't an issue, I would be licking this bad boy clean.
I've got the golden ticket.

I wish I were Agustus Gloop. I wanted to be the one who fell into the chocolate river. Sucked into the tube? Not so much...but if so...that would be the way to die. Death by Chocolate.

Did I mention I was born in Germany? Agustus and I should be homies. We have so much in common.

  • Nutella Fan?
  • If you could be a Willy Wonka character, who would you be?

  1. We were getting low on nutella so I had to get some more today! it's been an obsession of mine since I was little. We didn't have it in the grocery store so we would have to drive to a little German store about 30 minutes away just to get it.... Well maybe my parents wanted other things but the nutella was all I cared about. I would probably have to be Violet from willy wonka. I have an extreme love for bubble gum. When I am 80 and have bad tmj I will hate my young self.

  2. Yes to the Nutella. And an even bigger YES to all these Willy Wonka references! Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is one of my favorite books -- I have a thing for candyland type stuff. I'd be Charlie, post cabbage soup days.

  3. I've had to make Inspector Climate stop buying Nutella because whenever I came to his house I ate it by the spoonful. Delicious!

I think I'd like to be the grandpa - weird huh?

  4. I love nutella! My stepdad is German and he used to make us nutella sandwiches on baguettes...so yum! I still eat them when I head home. AND I love Roald Dahl, so I am just all about this post!

  5. I need some Nutella in my house! I was a German minor in college. Does that count? :) I don't remember anything from it, so probably not.

  7. I was introduced to the creamy deliciousness when I was an exchange student in Germany...I was in love with the idea of having chocolate for breakfast. Can you think of a better dish? I have to be careful, could eat an entire jar in a single sitting. Well...maybe not the entire thing but I would give it a go.

  8. I've only tried Nutella once but never purchased any...because it was THAT good and I didn't feel like having to use THAT much self control!

  9. Yes, I love Nutella! Did you see those commercials where they are trying to pitch it as a 'healthy' breakfast food for kids? Love it. I think Augustus definitely had the best deal out of all of the kids!

  11. Oh man, I've gone through phases where my diet was 87% nutella, 5% nutella on biscuits, and 8% other foods.
I'm on a break until I learn self control hahaha

  15. Yes, huge fan of nutella and I'm pretty sure I only know about it b/c of you. Unfortunately, we do not keep it in the house b/c I would eat a tub a week.

I'd wanna be one of the oompa lumpa's!
