26 Weeks and The BEST Diaper Bag!

This week I feel like a puffer fish. Just thought I'd let you know.

How far along? 26 weeks. Just truckin' along.

Total weight gain: I plead the 5th

Maternity clothes? Loving my maternity shorts at the moment. This 100 degree heat is no joke.

Stretch marks? Thank God, NO!

Sleep: Sleep is ok, but I wake up with aches and pains since I have been sleeping on my side. I'm doing well at it though and rarely wake up on my back anymore.

Best moment this week: Feeling Baby flip and twirl, atleast that's what it feels like he/she is doing. It's a new sensation.

Miss Anything? My body and the feeling of NOT being swollen.

Movement: Baby is kicking, flipping, and hiccuping a lot still. 

Food cravings: Beef. It's what's for dinner...all the time.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing at the moment
Gender predictions: For a long time I've been feeling like it's a girl, but now I'm getting more boy predictions. Even hubby thinks it might be a boy because I'm craving Frat boy food.

Labor Signs: Not yet

Symptoms: Turns out I am now Anemic. I've been put on Iron pills and warned about the consipation that is soon to come. Grrrreaaat.

Belly Button in or out? You can see it through my shirt. Cute or gross, can't decide.

Wedding rings on or off? Rockin' my 1.5 carat of fakeness. I miss my real rings.

Happy or Moody most of the time: I've been pretty hormonal and complainy.

Looking forward to: Purchasing the crib and glider. Any recommendations on brands?

 

I am excited to report that I got my diaper bag! Now, usually I am not a "purse person".... (a "purson?") I adore my Old Navy bag that can stand the test of time and me throwing it all over the place. I would never do well with those fancy shmancy purses. However, when I started looking around for the diaper bag I wanted, I knew I wanted something cute that didn't look like your typical diaper bag. I figured I'd be carrying this around for awhile and it would be a good investment.

 

At first, like most preggos, I fell in love with the Petunia Pickle Bottom bags. The name alone makes you smile. But, the price on this wipes that smile away. Ranging from $200 and up, I just can't do it.

I also had my eye on the JuJuBe Bff bag. Check out the organization on this wonderful guy! :swwooon:: But it wasn't quite my style and at $165 I wasn't ready to start a long term relationship with him.

Then, I came across the bag of my pregnancy dreams. The perfect combination of cute, functional, and durable. I wanted it right away! Meet my Skip Hop Studio Tote. It was a steal on Amazon for $90. Hubby was kind enough to surprise me with it!



I am so tempted to use it for my everyday purse now, but I will be patient. But don't be surprised if you see me toting this around before baby gets here.
